Ben Folds Five - Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY, 10-9-2012

So far, I've posted about 27 concerts from the April 2026 leak of soundboards from the Capitol Theater in Port Chester. There's a lot more where that came from. I have at least 40 more I'm working on getting ready to post. Recently, a commenter named nytvf asked if that includes a Ben Folds Five concert. It does, and since I'm posting these in no special order and I got that request, I'm posting this one next.

Ben Folds Five, which actually consisted of three band members, not five, existed for seven years, from 1993 to 2000. During that time, they released three studio albums. Then band leader Ben Folds started putting out solo albums instead. But the band reunited in 2012 for another studio album, "The Sound of the Life of the Mind," an a supporting tour. Then the band broke up again. 

Not surprisingly, this concert mostly consists of songs from the band's four albums, especially their most recent ones. Ben Folds released three solo albums between 2000 and 2012, but only one song, "Landed," came from any of those. The album was definitely on Ben Folds Five songs. There also were no cover songs.

The music here is unreleased. The sound quality is excellent, with no problems. 

This album is an hour and 44 minutes long.
