Here is a quote from the Wikipedia page about the band: "On commercially successful albums such as 'Autobahn,' 'Trans-Europe Express,' 'The Man-Machine,' and 'Computer World,' Craftwork developed a self described 'robot pop' Style that combined electronic music with pop, melodies, sparse arrangements, and repetitive rhythm While adopting a stylized image, including matching suits."
There is a lot more to say about this band. They were extremely influential and a number of musical genres. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the early influences category. But since I'm on vacation, I don't have a lot of time to work on this write up right now. I suggest you check out their Wikipedia page for more information:
In November 1974, the band released the studio album "Autobahn." The most significant song on it was also called "Autobahn," which was 23 minutes long in its album version. A single version of that song was released, which was less than four minutes long. It was a surprise hit in the United States, making the Top Forty. That led to the band touring the US for the first time. This was a radio broadcast of one of the stops on that tour.
I believe this recording is unreleased. The sound quality is pretty good, though maybe below that of most other Ebbets Field radio broadcasts.
This album is 43 minutes long.
