Burdon sang a lot of hit songs while leading the Animals in the 1960s. In 1970, he had the hit “Spill the Wine,” backed by the band War. After that, though, his hit making pretty much came to an end. But his music career did not. But at the time of this concert, his last solo studio album came out in 1971. A couple of the songs here would appear on albums that were released later in 1974 or in 1975. But in this concert, he also sang three hits he had with the Animals, “When I Was Young,” “The House of the Rising Sun,” and “It’s My Life.”
The sound quality here is pretty good, maybe not excellent. The music is all unreleased.
This album is 59 minutes long.
