Here is yet another Ebbets Field radio broadcast. This one stars singer-songwriter J.D. Souther.
Here is the intro to the Wikipedia entry about Souther:
"He was an American singer, songwriter, an actor. He was a principal architect of the southern California sound in a major influence on a generation of songwriters. Souther wrote, and cowrote songs recorded by Linda Ronstadt and some of the Eagles biggest including "Best of My Love," "Victim of Love," "Heartache Tonight," and "New Kid in Town." "How Long," Which appeared on the Eagles' "Long Road Out of Eden," came Souther's first solo album. He recorded to hit songs in his solo career: "You're Only Lonely" (1979) and "Her Town Too" (1981), a duet with James Taylor."
Here is the link to the rest of his Wikipedia entry:
At the time of this concert, he had released only two solo albums, "John David Souther" in 1972 and "Black Rose" in 1976. But he also released two more albums as part of the Souther-Hillman-Furay trio in 1974 and 1975 with Chris Hillman and Richie Furay.
As far as I know, all the music here is unreleased. The sound quality is excellent.
This album is 43 minutes long.
