Isaak was at the peak of his popularity in the early to mid-1990s, thanks mostly to his classic song "Wicked Game." But the above "Volume 1" album took place around the time that song was a hit. This concert took place two years later, when he was supporting his 1993 album "San Francisco Days." So the songs here are fairly different, though it's not surprising he played "Wicked Game" again.
Note that I've gotten some conflicting information about the venue. At the end of concert, the BBC DJ voiceover stated it took place at the Manchester Apollo. But the BBC website from the date the concert was broadcast stated it took place at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. I'm guessing the Manchester Apollo because I figure the DJ was more likely to be right (even though that voice was recorded later and not at the concert). I'd be happy if anyone know the answer one way or another.
The main concert is just 28 minutes long. I thought that was a bit too short, so I went looking for some extra songs to add. I found a version of "Can't Do a Thing (To Stop Me)" from a BBC TV show in 1993, so I added that. Then I found three more songs from another BBC TV show in 1995, when he was promoting his next album, "Forever Blue."

The cover photo is from 1993. I don't know any additional details.
set list website states only 4 concerts in England 1993, and lists Manchester Apollo June 28th, with several contributors saying they were there. The BBC website is often wrong or contradicts info, so like you Paul, would go with the DJ comments of Apollo. The BBC website often confuses a Warren Zevon broadcast, and claims it was ten years different to the actual gig! Not foolproof.
