Brandi Carlile - Cover Songs, Volume 4: 2015-2017

This is Volume 4 of my six albums of Brandi Carlile doing cover songs. I don't want to repeat myself too much, so I'll just say that she has a fantastic voice and excellent taste in cover songs, so this is a good listen.

In terms of sound quality, nine out of the 14 songs are officially unreleased. Sometimes that can mean dodgy sound, but as I said with earlier albums, I've maintained high standards. I have musical associate Lil Panda veto the inclusion of a few that were borderline.

When it comes to song selection, the vast majority are undisputed classics. But she does do a few songs that are more recent and lesser known, including an Adele song. Perhaps some of them will be considered classics someday.
