The theme of musical comebacks continues in a big way with this set. Bonnie Raitt had a fair amount of success for most of the 1970s, but her music career was in slow decline for most of the 1980s. She had trouble even getting one of her albums released. But then, in 1989, she had one of the biggest and most successful music career revivals of all time, thanks to her album "Nick of Time." It hit Number One on the U.S. album chart, sold five million copies, and won the Album of the Year Grammy. Rolling Stone magazine has even listed it as one of the top 500 albums of all time. That turned her into a superstar, and she went on to have many more successful records.
This concert is a roughly even mix between "Nick of Time" songs and songs from earlier in her career.
