The Steve Miller Band with Sonny Charles - Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY, 12-30-2012

Here's a concert by the Steve Miller Band from Port Chester in 2012.

To be honest, I'm not sure if this is from the April 2026 Port Chester soundboard leak or not. It was not included in the PDF file listing everything in that leak. But it matches the details of that leak perfectly. It's a mono soundboard of the same time period of everything else in the leak (roughly 2012 to 2019), and it showed up some time in 2026. So I would guess it's some kind of straggler that should have been included in the file but was missed. In any case, it has the same fantastic soundboard sound quality as everything else in the leak, and that's the most important thing.

At the time of this concert, Miller didn't have any new music to promote. He did release blues covers albums in 2010 and 2011, but he didn't play much from those. Instead, this is a long concert with lots of his best known songs. He also was joined by Sonny Charles, who sang lead or co-lead vocals on a few songs. Charles was the lead vocalist for the soul band Checkmates, Ltd., which had a big hit in 1969 with the song "Black Pearl." He toured regularly with Miller from 2008 to 2012.

Here's his Wikipedia entry:

If you want a live greatest hits from Miller, this is a pretty ideal concert for that. All his best known songs are included, plus some bluesy stuff with or without Charles.

This album is an hour and 59 minutes long.
