Power to the People Festival, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, MD, 10-3-2026, Part 6 - Dave Matthews

Here's the sixth out of ten albums of the October 2026 Power to the People Festival. This one is a set by Dave Matthews.

At the time of this concert, it's been a while since Matthews last released at studio album, about three years. But two of the songs in this short set are currently unreleased: "Peace on Earth" and "Papertown." Also, he finished with a cover of the Marvin Gay classic "Mercy, Mercy Me (The Ecology)." Apparently, this is the first time he ever played the song in concert.

The performance was mostly acoustic in nature instead of with his usual band. However, he did have some light backing by other musicians, including a prominent female vocalist helping out on "Mercy, Mercy Me."

This album is 30 minutes long.
