Warren Haynes - Capitol Theatre, Port Chester, NY, 10-11-2012

Here's another concert from the great April 2026 Port Chester soundboard leak. This one features Warren Haynes, who is both a talented singer-songwriter and lead guitarist.

Haynes was one of the lead guitarists for the Allman Brothers Band from 1989 to 1997. During that time, he began a side project band, Gov't Mule. But that eventually became his main band, which continues until this day (as I write this in 2026). He returned to the Allman Brothers Band from 2000 to 2014. But if he wasn't busy enough with two bands, he also started various solo projects on top of that. In 2011, he released his second solo album, "Man in Motion," which had a bit more of a soul music sound to it.

But I can't say this concert was promoting that, because he played exactly zero songs from it. He did play one song, "Glory Road," which would appear on his next solo album, "Ashes & Dust," released in 2015. The rest of the songs were generally Gov't Mule (five of those) or Allman Brothers Band songs (one of those, "Old Friend"), or cover versions.

By the way, this is just one of several Haynes concerts I have from Port Chester and plan on posting. There's ones from 2015 and 2026 as well. Plus, I have two Gov't Mule concerts from 2015.

This album is two hours and 24 minutes long.
