BBC Sessions, Volume 2: In Concert, Hammersmith Apollo, London, Britain, 5-6-1995

Here's a BBC concert by American singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter. It's from 1995, arguably the peak of her popularity.

This is one of the least necessary albums I've ever posted at this blog. What I mean is, I've already posted an album from her, "The Barns at Wolf Trap, Vienna, VA, 7-3-1995," that is very similar, since it took place on the same tour, only two months later. But since I've been posting BBC albums from her, I want to be thorough and post this one too.

This is another album I found due to Progsprog sharing it from his music collection. Kudos to him. It's another one that I didn't even know existed, and there's virtually no mention of it on the Internet. One of the treats of focusing on posting BBC material is how rarities like this keep popping up. And despite its obscurity until now, the sound quality is excellent.  

I had already posted three BBC albums by her that take place after this one. So, once again, we have to do a renaming shuffle. I recommend you re-download the others, to get the now correct titles, cover art, mp3 tags, and so forth.
