I love the music of the Pretty Things in general, but I think they had a decline from about 1973 to 1976, before breaking up (for the first time). They went in more of a glam rock/ hard rock direction, which would have been fine if they wrote great songs, but in my opinion they didn't. But in any case, 1975 is when they happened to do an Ultrasonic concert, so here we are. They were promoting their album "Silk Torpedo," which was released about two months earlier.
They generally played songs from that album and other recent albums. But for the last two songs, they went back to some of their earliest songs. ("(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66" is a cover, but they did it from the mid-1960s).
The music here is unreleased. The sound quality is very good, but not excellent.
This album is an hour and three minutes long.
