I'll be on vacation starting tomorrow and lasting for the next six days. So don't expect any new posts during that time. But I'll be back soon. And I may have some time to still read and respond to comments, we'll see.
Have a great vacation and don't worry: I still have enough un-listened to downloads to keep me over the next week! Thanks once again for all your wonderful creativity!
You have posted enough live Zep for three years worth of legit album label releases in just the past two months alone. You already were one of the best alt-album sites out here, and then you picked up UVR5, Spleeter, etc. and began finding the flakes of gold in the nooks and crannies deep down in the mix, in the case of buried vocals or bringing badly recorded ones up into the open, in some cases probably never heard *at all* since they were put to tape decades previously.
Long way of saying have a great time, as Walter says above, there is so much in my queue just from here (see: Zep above LOL) everything is in good hands while you take a well earned break from being a conglomeration of every great producer in music history on top of whatever you do as your *day job* LOL
Enjoy some "you" time! Thanks for sharing some wonderful finds, and especially for your work in using new software to readjust vocal vs instrumental balances and to remove intrusive DJ/VJ announcements that interfere with the music. Much appreciated!
Thanks for the praise. I just wish I'd learned those editing tricks earlier. If you hear anything you think needing fixing on the stuff I posted a while back, please let me know.
When you do return, It'd be an a propos time to post that third-and-final-and-I-mean-final Robbie Robertson Stray Tracks collection. ("Between Dog & Wolf" seems to be on YT, albeit just an excerpt used in a PBS special on Native issues.)
Have a nice one. ND
