I count five songs that aren't duplicates

Song Of The Groundhog
Long River
Gossip Calypso
Sixteen Miles
Nova Scotia Farewell

I imagine the first one is a humorous novelty song and the last one is on the 71 concert, but I am quite partial to "Sixteen Miles (To Sixteen Lakes)" from his debut album (which I'm not a huge fan of, as it's a tad too trad folk for me).

So, if it's not too much of a bother, could you post that concert, or the rest of the tracks mentioned above, if only here in the comments section? I'd be much obliged. I agree that most other albums are quite spotty.

The sound quality on these is, as you promised, fantastic for such old recordings. Is there a way you can post the entire Cleveland concert or would these just be duplicates of the songs from the Riverboat?

I'm a citizen of the world, but I'm not Canadian, eh!? ;-)One Buck Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15658772766095130065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7460858122325726071.post-88454917527520113282019-12-26T00:21:52.943-08:002019-12-26T00:21:52.943-08:00Glad you like him so much. Are you Canadian?

Re: Petty, I have to admit he has some filler too. I haven't kept all his songs on all his albums. But I feel he has a lot of albums that are solid all the way through. "Damn the Torpedoes," "Full Moon Fever," and "Wildflowers" are three popular examples.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16440455458923189607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7460858122325726071.post-9835363962078568022019-12-25T14:09:30.984-08:002019-12-25T14:09:30.984-08:00"I have to admit that I'm not a big Gordo..."I have to admit that I'm not a big Gordon Lightfoot fan. When he's on, such as with a song like "If You Could Read My Mind" or "Early Morning Rain," he's amazing. And he has a lot of those songs. Lightfoot was my first "mature artist" that I fell in love with as a teenager and I own all his albums. There is effectively some filler, but hey, you're a huge Tom Petty fan so how do you get through his albums?

Anyway, thanks for this, as ever, and merry Christmas! One Buck Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15658772766095130065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7460858122325726071.post-66145912119741375662019-12-22T15:08:07.167-08:002019-12-22T15:08:07.167-08:00Thanks.
